No tea in the teapot
Viston English Breakfast tea is our best loose leaf black tea to replace store-bought English Breakfast tea bags. Brew up to 35 cups of tea with 70g of loose tea.
Our loose leaf English Breakfast tea is brisk and lively on the tongue, with tasting notes of toasted caramel. A blend of broken Ceylon black teas creates a delicious and refreshing, tantalizing amber-colored cup. The liveliness of this breakfast blend will wake you up every morning.
Ceylon tea is a popular choice for making breakfast blends - and not without reason. They are robust enough to withstand milk and sugar or honey and lemon but can be taken straight just as well. As a bonus, it can make a mean iced tea on a hot day.
If you've been drinking English Breakfast tea from tea bags - you will love our loose leaf version of your English Breakfast tea. Tea leaves in our English Breakfast tea are quite fine because they are broken, but that is not a sign of lower quality. They are not fannings as sometimes used in tea bags. Breaking the tea leaves is a method of bringing out the briskness and strength that is expected of English Breakfast tea.
We encourage you to contrast any store-bought English Breakfast tea bags you may have with Viston English Breakfast tea and taste the difference by yourself. We promise you, after trying loose leaf tea, you will never go back to tea bags.
English Breakfast follows the standard instructions for preparing loose leaf black teas:
Great, very soft tea.
We drink a lot of tea in our household (always loose leaf) but we drink only two blends: East Frisian and English Breakfast. We enjoy Viston’s English Breakfast blend because it brews and good strong tea, perfect for the morning. It has good flavour and aroma. Not all English Breakfast tea blends are good, some are awful but Viston’s is the best!
